GROUP TIMES & LOCATIONS:

Wednesdays from 7:30pm-8:30pm via Zoom

If you have recently been feeling like...

  • your grief consumes your life, and impacts the way you function in your life

  • you're struggling with the unpredictable waves of deep emotion

  • you're lacking the support of others who have been through similar experiences

  • the generic education around grieving doesn't quite fit your experience or needs

  • you can't seem to shake the feeling of numbness throughout your mind and body

Then this is the Grief group for you.

​

Our goal is provide you with a safe space to address the physical, mental, AND emotional challenges of your grief, all in a way that is specifically tailored to your experience and needs. Everyone grieves differently, so we will guide you through developing a toolbox of ways to support yourself in this process. We also believe in the power of group support. You don't have to move through this journey feeling alone!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does the group run for?

This is a 6-week closed group, meaning that we ask each member to commit to the group for 6 weeks. Showing up with the same people consistently is what creates the beautiful power of community support!

How can I join?

Click here to schedule your free 15-minute consultation call with the group leader, Sara Freeman. You will fill out a few application questions as you're booking the call. During the consultation call, you and a Kula staff member will discuss your goals for the group, and discuss next steps!

What is the cost?

Each 60-minute group session is $35. You can choose to pay per session, or pay the full $210 up front for all 6 group sessions.

​

Where is it located?

This group is held virtually allowing for high school students all over the state of Georgia to join.

​

What happens if I miss a group session?

Although we encourage you to attend as many group sessions as possible to get the most out of this group, we realize that life happens and sometimes you can't make every session! If you have to miss, your group leader will send you any applicable resources from the group session.

How many people are in the group?

This group will have up to 8 group members.

ABOUT YOUR GROUP LEADER

Sara Freeman has been working with kids and teens for the past 10 years. She has been running grief groups for Kate's Club in public schools in the Atlanta area since 2022.

​

She is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University and is expected to graduate in May 2024.
