About the Role

We are looking to add a Psychotherapist to our team!

This is a part-time, hourly employee (W-2) position with potential to grow to full-time.

This is a hybrid role: client sessions will be varied between our two office locations in Decatur and Peachtree Corners, along with online sessions via Zoom.

This position reports directly to the co-CEOs of Kula Wellness Group.

Job Responsibilities

- Facilitate comprehensive intake process with new clients
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy tailored to clients’ specific goals, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans for each client
- Appropriately respond to and incorporate clients’ goals within psychotherapy sessions
- Maintain updated confidential case files for each client in our Electronic Health Record system, including the timely completion of medical records for each session
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning with clients
- Create a personal connection within the therapeutic relationship with each client
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers in consultation when necessary
- Provide qualified referrals when requested and/or necessary
- Arrive to in-person sessions a minimum of 30 minutes before session start time
- Act as an ambassador for all Kula Wellness Group offerings
- Attend Kula Wellness Group staff meetings and events, including biweekly group case consultation
- Additional related tasks as requested by the co-CEOs including but not limited to light cleaning of used spaces, setting up space appropriately, etc.

Required Qualifications

- Completion of a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited university
- Associate licensure or full licensure in the state of Georgia (or in process of obtaining)
- Completion of a full practicum and/or internship in psychotherapy
- Significant experience in conducting individual therapy sessions
- Strong interest in trauma-informed and somatic healing modalities
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create connection and safety with clients
- Demonstrated capacity for responsibility, accountability, and collaboration with others
- Passionate about the intersection of mental health and physical health
- Access to reliable internet if/when conducting client sessions remotely
- Must be age 18 or older
- Must be able to walk up 6 stairs (our offices do not have elevators)

Preferred Qualifications

- Significant experience in working with trauma healing
- Specialized training in a trauma-informed and/or somatic-based healing modality
- Specialized training in Play Therapy or other similar modalities
- Experience conducting group therapy

Salary

This is a W-2 employee position, paid hourly for clinical hours and administrative hours
