About the Role

This is a part-time, hourly employee (W-2) position.

This is a hybrid role: client sessions will be varied between our two office locations in Decatur and Peachtree Corners, along with online sessions via Zoom.

This position reports directly to the co-CEOs of Kula Wellness Group.

Job Responsibilities

- Facilitating comprehensive intake process with new clients
- Providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy tailored to clients’ specific goals, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Developing evidence-based treatment plans for each client
- Appropriately responding to and incorporating clients’ goals within psychotherapy sessions
- Maintaining updated confidential case files for each client in our Electronic Health Record system, including the timely completion of treatment plans and medical records for each session
- Conducting risk assessments and safety planning with clients
- Creating a personal connection within the therapeutic relationship with each client
- Collaborating with other healthcare providers in consultation/supervision when necessary
- Providing qualified referrals when requested and/or necessary
- Arriving to in-person sessions a minimum of 30 minutes before session start time
- Acting as an ambassador for all Kula Wellness Group offerings
- Attending Kula Wellness Group staff meetings and events, including biweekly group case consultation
- Attending weekly supervision meetings
- Additional related tasks as requested by the Directors including but not limited to light cleaning of used spaces, setting up space appropriately, etc.

Required Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a Masters degree program in Counseling from a CACREP accredited university
- Strong interest in trauma-informed and somatic healing modalities
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create connection and safety with clients
- Demonstrated capacity for responsibility, accountability, and collaboration with others
- Passionate about the intersection of mental health and physical health
- Access to reliable internet if/when conducting client sessions remotely
- Must be age 18 or older
- Must be able to walk up 6 stairs (our offices do not have elevators)

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in working with kids, teens, or adults
- Personal experience with psychotherapy, yoga, or other mind-body healing modalities
- Interest in working with one of the following niches: couples and families, kids and teens, young adults, aging populations

Salary

This is a W-2 employee position, paid hourly for clinical hours
